I didn’t see the puppy 😂 I was walking in Yaletown when I saw this big dog approaching. Of course, I stopped to say hello. I was so focused on this big guy that I didn’t even see the second dog sleeping in her bag 😂 Cynianne (@cynianne) was kind enough to let me photograph Romeo, and the sleeping beauty, Leo (@leo_thefluffybully). Romeo is an 8 years old dog who’s a little deaf, but loves meeting new people. Leo is a a fluffy French bulldog puppy who likes to eat, 💩, and wreak havoc on his older brother. And together - they are adorable! (P.S. I asked if I could take a family portrait, but Cynianne wasn’t feeling great that day. Stay tuned though, we might do an actual photoshoot in the future. A super sleek camera using the same sensor as the sony a7iv which some may think is disappointing but regardless the videos that come out are still stunning and won’t go out of fashion. The cinema body and all the software features definitely make film making easier and overall it looks aesthetic itself! If you aren’t a filmmaker feel free to go for an a7cii but if you are and want something cheaper to a FX3 this camera is great! #travel #camera #filmmaking #videography #gear

I found the perfect model 🍂 There’s a street corner in Yaletown with beautiful foliage in the fall/winter months. I really wanted to snap some portraits there, so I waited for the perfect person to walk by. 15 minutes later, Lynn (@chae_lyn_n) walked by with the most beautiful red hair. She was the perfect model for this backdrop, so I waved her down and asked if I could take her photo. Initially, Lynn was a little hesitant as she had never really shown her face much online. I was interested in why (ie. was it a privacy thing, cultural, etc.). She said she’s mostly just super shy about how she looks. So she’s never posted photos of her face, and never had a photoshoot before. This surprised me - as she’s obviously super photogenic! I just had to show her that. So I offered to take her photo - and if she didn’t like how they turned out, or still didn’t want me to post it… I would delete it on the spot. Once she saw the photos, she immediately said yes. 🙏 Fun fact: I scrolled back on her Insta after I met her and didn’t see a single photo of her face. But a few weeks after this interaction, she posted some photos from her Birthday… and I saw her face! Thank you so much for trusting me to take your photo, Lynn.
