MRIt takes TIME!!!
New Teachers….
I know that living in a world of social media with pinterest perfect classrooms and lessons can be hard. When I first started teaching art, I truly relied on this application for any and ALL ideas. I had no clue how to teach art!!! Thankfully to my surprise, the teacher community on here has been so helpful and inspiring….and slowly over time, I found my groove. I have been able to express the type of teacher I want to be with colorful lessons, bright bulletins, and making a space that allows my students to feel like they can create beautiful things.
Today, I stumbled across these first photos of my empty classroom, and it took me back to that unsure time as I was beginning this new position. It was scary….but I have learned that being in education is equally as challenging as it is rewarding. There is no perfection! Try to find what brings you joy so that you can incorporate that into your classrooms, and be the best teacher that you can be for your sweet students.
Just thought I would throw a little encouragement out there. I am always happy to help so just reach out 🩷☺️

ENHalf day utilised fully;
Day-55 of 209 days of sharing my teaching practices.
As it was half day today, and also it was rainy cats and dogs -
Only a few students could make it to class. So we thought of making our classroom more welcoming, informative and inclusive.
We added the posters of our famous and courageous leaders, warriors. Would be reading about them soon when the attendance would be higher.
Also the classroom is my place of escape from all the others troubles of my life, hence I invest more time, money and energy there.
I love doing that. And my kids helped me do that as well cleaned the walls. We could have asked the Safai wala Bhaiya’s… but there’s no better way to understand the dignity of labour the Doing it ourselves.
