Eid Series Episode 7 - No Bake Lazy Cake🌙
Recipe
Marie Biscuits (3 half roll packs)
Chocolate Sauce
2 cups milk
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp cocoa powder
70 g chocolate
Chocolate Ganache
60 g chocolate
100 g cream
• Break the biscuits roughly by hands and set aside
• In pan mix the milk, butter, sugar and cocoa. Cook till the mixture is thickened and reduced to almost half
• Then add the chocolate. Turn off the flame and mix till the chocolate is completely melted
• Cool completely
• Add in the bisuits and mix well. The mixture should be neither very wet or dry. Add some more biscuits if it is too saucy
• Pour this over a cling wrap and secure tightly into a log shape. You can also put this inside a loaf pan lined with cling film
• Refrigerate for at least 5 hours or overnight until set
• Then remove the cling wrap and optionally pour over a thin chocolate ganache. Refrigerate till the ganache sets
• Garnish with nuts and serve cold
