Apps relying on AWS for APIs, storage, and DNS started failing. Within minutes, services like Snapchat, Robinhood, Reddit, Signal, and Prime Video crashed. ⸻ 🧠 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 It wasn’t a hardware failure — a DNS issue inside DynamoDB caused chaos. (The need) Because production doesn’t care about reminders — humans do. Reports, alerts, renewals, cron emails, daily summaries — all need to run without servers and without manual effort.
