If I were just scratching lines and not printing any textures, that would be drypoint; but since I’m building and printing from the surface itself, it leans more towards collagraph territory. I converted a pasta maker into a press! CHECK OUT MY YOUTUBE TUTORIAL I took the base off the pasta maker I screwed to blocks of wood to a board allowing me to wedge the press on its side in between I’ve used a piece of plastic as a printed bed and a piece of craft felt - it’s works a treat as a small etching press! I use tetra pak/juice carton to make this Dandelion print as it’s flexible a great low cost alternative press for those wanting to experiment with intaglio printmaking at home ! Every pasta maker is different but the principles the same - a roller and a dial to adjust pressure - mine is a cheap kitchen craft one from amazon but charity shops often have them as people give up on making pasta! #pastapress #pastamakermachine #collagraph #collagraphprint  #artwork #printmaker  #artwork #printmakersofinstagram #printmaker #print #jennymccabe #intaglio #handprinted #handmade #birdart #ukprintmakers #artist #artstudio #womenprintmakers

Last of the series (although I could probably draw stone barns forever!) as the summer holidays are nearly over so it’s back to the day job next week.
