DACosmic Macro Plant Lighting
For this scene, I wanted to keep the composition simple but create a dreamy look.
The plant immediately caught my attention because of the small red leaves that add a lot of character to the shot.
The amaran Ace 25c was perfect here. Its compact size makes it easy to carry everywhere, and using the grid attachment allowed me to shape the light precisely without spilling it across the scene. It’s also powerful enough to shoot comfortably even in bright daylight.
To build the background, I placed steel wool behind the subject and introduced a blue light to create specular highlights and color contrast.
