ALFor the woman who cannot fast, do not despair! Here’s some pro-tips for you! 🌸
1️⃣ Make loads of Zikr.
If you can’t read the Qur’an, there are LOADS of zikir for you to try and recite when doing anything and everything.
Remember that Allah promises: “Allah Almighty says: I am with My servant while he remembers Me and his two lips are moving for My sake.” (Sahih Ibn Majah)
2️⃣ Prepare a meal for your family or friends who are fasting! Why don’t you cook up a meal for those fasting around you? And if you can’t cook, buy a meal for someone instead!
The Prophet (saw) said, ‘Whoever feeds a person breaking his fast will earn the same reward as him, without anything being lessened from the reward of the fasting person.’ (Tirmidhi)
3️⃣ Do extra Sadaqah to compensate for your missed fast.
This was part of the way of the Prophet SAW. Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “The Prophet (peace be upon him) was the most generous of people, and he was most generous during Ramadan” (Hadith, Bukhari).
If you find yourself unable to fast, add a little more to your donations, with the sole intention of getting the same rewards of those fasting.
4️⃣ Encourage the ones who are fasting to do goodness by giving reminders. Even if you’re not fasting, remember that you still play an important role in spreading goodness to the people around you. Maybe help someone by waking them up for Sahoor, or send reminders over WhatsApp or Instagram?
It is mentioned in the Qur’an: “And continue to remind. For certainly reminders benefit the believers.” (Surah Adzariyat: 55)
5️⃣ Don’t lose the momentum! Let’s be honest, when we are unable to fast, it becomes super easy to fall into laziness. It’s really important to do our very best to constantly remind ourselves of the blessed month of Ramadan, and its benefits so we don’t lose too much time doing unnecessary acts that lead to idleness. The secret? Don’t stop, and don’t give up even if you find yourself doing minimal efforts. The Prophet SAW says: “The most beloved of deeds to Allah are those that are most consistent, even if it is small.” (Bukhari)

LAHere’s a common estate planning mistake 👇
Most people assume that if they co-own a home, it automatically goes to the other owner when one person dies. That’s not always true.
If your deed is titled as Tenants in Common or the title is vague in your state for example husband and wife each owner may be treated as having a separate share. When one owner dies that share can become part of their estate often triggering probate delays court costs and unexpected co ownership.
And in some states that share doesn’t even go to the surviving owner. It can legally pass to a child parent or other relative under state law.
If your goal is for the home to pass automatically to the surviving owner the deed generally needs to be titled as Joint Tenancy with Right of Survivorship or Tenancy by the Entirety available in some states for married couples. Without clear survivorship language your intentions may not matter.
The fix 👇
First check how your deed is titled. Second consider retitling the property or using a trust so the home transfers clearly privately and without probate. A trust can be especially powerful because it keeps the house out of probate even after both of you pass away. A will alone does not fix a deed problem.
