DIWhile calling out golfers at the PGA show we ran into Ben and decided to ask him how far he hit his driver. He claimed he hits his driver 275 yards. If he does, then he’ll be walking away with some brand new Divot Dudes vice golf balls. Did he hit his number? Or did he hit it too far?!?!👀

If you want to guarantee solid contact, it’s critical you get your divot after the ball. A huge % of amateurs fail to strike the ball with enough of a descending blow.
Here’s how we fix that:
🎯 Explore what it feels like to get your hips and chest in front of the ball while keeping your head above it
🎯 Make some small swings from this position and notice where your club brushes the ground
🎯 Do the same with the ball making sure you focus on hitting the ground after the ball
For many of you, this will feel as though you are a lot more into your lead side than normal. You will also likely feel as though your head is significantly more back in relation to your chest. Remember, new movements are always awkward at first!! As long as you’re getting those divots after the ball, you’re on the right track!!
