DESo many people are turning away from public health…which is understandable, but at the end of the day our degrees opened doors for us that would have remained closed had we not pursued this degree.
Public health isn’t going anywhere and tbh very soon you’re going to see an increased need for us everywhere. You can’t try to dismantle the health of the public and not experience the consequences.
The problem with most people is that they don’t know how to leverage their degree. Stop thinking what can I do with an MPH and start thinking what can I do with my evaluation skills, my quantitative analysis skills, my community engagement skills, my grantmaking skillls, my strategic planning skills etc etc.
The only limit you have in this field is the one you place on yourself by not getting in rooms where they’re talking about leverage and opportunity
