In the summer of 2001, Konstantin Petrov, a night-shift electrician at Windows on the World restaurant atop the World Trade Center, inadvertently created one of the most important visual records of the buildings' final months. During his overnight shifts, he took hundreds of photographs documenting the intimate details of the towers' interiors - from empty offices and table settings to dawn breaking over Manhattan from 100 floors up. These images, discovered years later on an Estonian photo-sharing site, remain some of the only existing photographs of the towers' interior spaces before 9/11, providing an invaluable and haunting historical record just months before their destruction.

🏛 Edificio Otto Wulff Ubicado en Av Belgrano y Perú barrio de Monserrat, fue construido en 1914 a pedido del empresario Otto Wulff. El proyecto y dirección de la obra fue encomendado al arquitecto danés Morten F. Rönnow y la construcción estuvo a cargo de los ingenieros Dirks y Dates, que utilizaron materiales traídos de Europa. El estilo de este edificio es muy particular, puede inscribirse en el Jugendstil, la versión germana del art nouveau, pero también posee rasgos renacentistas, del neogótico y del eclecticismo. Posee ocho atlantes de cinco metros de altura ubicados en ambos frentes, cada uno de los cuales representan a los oficios involucrados en la construcción del edificio: maestro herrero, carpintero, albañil, forjador, aparejador, escultor, arquitecto y jefe de obra. En su fachada se observan imágenes de búhos, ojos de Horus, pingüinos, cóndores, sapos, mulitas, cobras, víboras, bebés gateando, yaguaretés, abejas y panales, libélulas. Entre todas esas figuras hay más de 680 ojos- Cuenta con dos torres cupuladas hechas en hormigón armado, que rematan en dos agujas, una de ellas lleva el sol en su extremo y la otra, una corona. Las visitas son organizadas por @espacio_tiempo_ottowulff quienes realizan encuentros en una oficina dentro de la cúpula del edificio.
