MOMETAL EMBOSSING XMAS CARDS🌟🗝️🤍
so happy with how these turned out!
U need:
- Tin trays (like the ones ppl bring to family dinners)
- blank paper to draw your stencil
- scissors
- ball point pen
- blank cards
- hot glue
⭐️STEPS⭐️
1. Design your stencil on the blank paper. I drew a rocking horse, some violets, and some moths!
2. Cut out tin from your tray in the shape of your stencil and tape the stencil on top of your tin shape.
3. Trace the stencil with the ball point pen, pressing the design into the tin. TIP: it helps to go over the stencil twice, once with the paper and once just straight onto the tin.
4. How glue your tin piece to your card! Add some cute stars if you like, and write a cute message to someone 🤍
Other tips:
- don’t go out for supplies - just recycle the tin that people bring to your holiday party! Use something with a flat edge to flatten out any bumps or ridges!
- small round pie trays work perfectly and make it easy to cut out a circular shaped tin
- have something soft underneath your tin while tracing, like a table cloth, so you can create a deeper impression into the tin
