WH📍Thornton-le-dale and Dalby Forest Circular 🌲
Have you ever seen somewhere so beautiful? Thornton-le-dale is a small, picturesque village right on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors with a stream that runs right through the middle of it!
We did a circular route from YO18 7SD to Dalby Forest and back.
We passed a gorgeous glamping spot called @gumbootsandwellingtons and a place to get fresh milk and milkshakes @newhamsdairy .
@forestryenglanddalby had lots of trails you can do from there on their own and they have a visitors centre with a cafe that serves delicious food. We got a homemade flapjack 🤤
They have a courtyard cafe and bike shop that’s worth paying a visit.
We took the route back through Ellerburn back to Thornton-le-dale and stopped for a drink at the tea rooms.
In total this was around 8 miles and we can’t wait to visit the area again in the summer with the bikes! Perfect for an easy Sunday stroll and a good route for families with kids and dogs!
