EASY 2 Ingredient Flatbreads 🥙   Why pay money for flatbreads at a supermarket when you can make them yourself using only two ingredients? Perfect to serve with a curry on a cold day, or they are great when packed with your favourite sandwich fillings. Don’t forget to grab one of my new books Healthy Fakeaways OR my 12 week meal planner.   Ingredients:  - 280g Self Raising Flour  - 250g Greek Yoghurt (I used 0% fat)     Method:    1. Add your self-raising flour and Greek yoghurt to a bowl and combine with a fork. Dust your surface with some flour and knead the mixture for a few minutes.   2. Form a ball with the dough and flatten. Cut the ball into four or eight (depending how small you like the flatbreads)  3. Flatten using a rolling pin and then transfer onto pan (medium-high heat). Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.   4. Episode 1- 🧄🧀 Cheesy Stuffed Garlic Flatbreads ✨ This 2 ingredient dough is a quick fix to be (in my opinion) eaten straight away. I wouldn’t recommend it as a prep ahead food. 🥥 Vegan/dairy-free: use dairy-free yoghurt (coconut works well) + plant-based cheese 🌾 Gluten-free: swap for gluten-free self-raising flour (with xanthan gum for best texture) Ingredients- For the dough: * 200g natural yoghurt * 200g self-raising flour * 1 tbsp olive oil For the filling: * 65g mature cheddar * 65g mozzarella For the garlic butter: * 40g salted butter (softened) * 1 garlic clove (grated) * 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped) Method- 1. Make the dough�Add the yoghurt, flour and olive oil to a bowl.�Mix until it comes together into a soft dough. 2. Shape the flatbreads�Turn onto a floured surface and divide into 4 equal pieces.�Roll each one into an oblong (roughly 20cm x 10cm). Gently push the centre in slightly so it creates a “clamshell” shape. 3. Add the filling�Mix the cheeses together.�Add a quarter of the cheese mix into the centre of each piece. Brush a little water around the edges, fold over to close, press out the air and seal the edges. 4. Roll & flatten�Carefully roll each one out again to a flatbread/naan size. 5. Bake�Place on a tray and bake at 200°C (fan) for 12 minutes until lightly golden. 6. Make the garlic butter�Mix the softened butter with the garlic and parsley.�(If needed, soften the butter slightly in the microwave.) 7. Finish�Brush the flatbreads with the garlic butter, then return to the oven for 2–3 minutes. 8. Serve �Serve warm while the cheese is melted and gooey 🤤 Much Love, Jade x

Full Recipe 👉 Soft Buttered Flatbreads Save for later & Share with your besties. Amazing Soft Buttered Flatbreads (Bazlama Turkish Flatbread) Similar to Chapati Ingredients: 200ml or ⅔cup +⅛ cup+1tbsp lukewarm water 200ml or ⅔cup+⅛ cup+1tbsp lukewarm milk 21g fresh yeast or 2½ tsp instant yeast 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp salt Approx. 570-600g flour ★ To ensure the bread rises well & remains soft, the dough should be soft & slightly sticky. It's best to use no more than 600g of flour. If the dough seems too soft while kneading, you can add 2-3 Tbsps of flour, but be careful not to make the dough too stiff. Also: 1 tbsp butter, finely chopped parsley Preparation: Knead all dough ingredients into a soft, slightly sticky dough. Then add 1-2 tbsp oil & shape the dough into a light round. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes. Place the dough on a floured work surface & divide it into 7-8 portions. First, lightly flatten the pieces with your hand & then roll them out with a rolling pin into flatbreads, not too thin. Tap off any excess flour. Place the rolled-out flatbreads on a cloth, cover with another cloth & let them rest for 5-10 minutes. This helps them rise. Preheat a non-stick frying pan on a stove. Once hot, reduce the heat from 9 to 7.5. Place the dough in the pan & bake, turning it constantly. Note: The flatbreads don't necessarily need to balloon. If you turn them too late, or if a small area opens during baking, they may not rise properly, but this is nothing to worry about. Please be careful when rolling them out & don't press too hard. Turn them every 8-10 seconds during cooking. If only one side of the flatbread rises & then stays put, you can gently press the puffed area with a spatula. This will help the rest of the flatbread rise nicely. Melt the butter in a small pan & stir in some finely chopped parsley. Immediately after baking, brush the baked flatbreads with the parsley butter while they are still hot. This will make them even softer & more aromatic. Filling 500g beef mince 1 small onion 2 garlic cloves 1 tbsp tomato paste 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp smoked paprika ½ tsp chilli flakes Salt + pepper Cook onion + garlic then add mince, add paste + spices and cook until browned. Cool completely. Assemble Divide dough into 6. Flatten, add 2–3 tbsp filling, seal like a dumpling. Flip, gently roll thick. Rest 15 mins. Cook them in a Dry pan, medium heat, 3–4 mins per side. Turkish-style spinach and cheese flatbreads, commonly known as Ispanakli Pide. Ingredients For the Dough: 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon instant yeast ¾ cup warm water 2 tablespoons olive oil For the Filling: 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped (or up to 10 cups baby spinach, wilted and drained) 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled ½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded 1 clove garlic, minced ½ teaspoon black pepper ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) For Finishing: 1 egg (for egg wash) 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional) Extra olive oil for brushing Instructions Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast. In a separate small bowl or measuring cup, mix the warm water and olive oil. Add the water and oil mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms. Knead for a few minutes (about 2-5 minutes) until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap, and let it rest for at least 20 minutes (or up to 1 hour to double in size). Make the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine all filling ingredients: chopped spinach, crumbled feta, shredded mozzarella, minced garlic, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Mix well. Pro tip: If using a large amount of fresh spinach, you may want to sauté it first until wilted, then drain any excess liquid and let it cool before mixing with the cheese. Assemble the Pide: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to 425°F (220°C). On a lightly floured surface, divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll each portion into an oval or "boat" shape, about ⅛ to ¼ inch thick. Spread a portion of the filling evenly over the center of the dough, leaving about a 1-inch border around the edges. Shape and Seal: Fold the borders of the dough partway over the filling, bringing the edges up and in toward the center. Pinch the ends to seal them securely, forming the traditional boat shape. Bake: Brush the exposed dough edges with an egg wash (beaten egg mixed with a tablespoon of water) or a little olive oil. Place the pides on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. If using sesame seeds, sprinkle them over the egg

Dit keer een heerlijke kipburger met een knapperig laagje spitskool, romige cheddar en een laagje knoflooksaus.🧄 Macro’s (per broodje): 531KCAL | 23F | 47C | 37P Dit heb je nodig (2 personen) 👩🏼‍🍳 * 2 eiwitrijke flatbreads (AH) * 1 rode ui * Spitskool * 2 kipburgers (200 g) (ik gebruikte Jalapeño burgers) * 2 plakken cheddar * Friteslijn knoflook * Optioneel: Koriander Zo maak je het 🍳 * Bereid de flatbreads zoals aangegeven op de verpakking en snijd de rode ui in halve ringen. * Verhit een koekenpan en bak hierin de kipburgers en ui. From the skreets Shawarma Wraps OG Creator tagged in comments Ingredients for 2 servings: -Ground beef: 400g -Fresh tomatoes: 250g -Red onion (to taste) -Flatbreads (lavash, pita, or tortillas): 2 pcs -Spices for the meat (1 tsp each): paprika, chili powder, black pepper, dried garlic, salt Tzatziki sauce: -Greek yogurt: 200g -Grated cucumber: 3 tablespoons -Garlic: 2 whole heads (for roasting) -Mint: 1 teaspoon -Dill: 1 tablespoon -Olive oil: 2 tablespoons -Salt and pepper: to taste -Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon Instructions: Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the ground beef on a sheet of parchment paper, cover with another sheet, and roll it out into an even thin layer. For a standard sheet, use about 350–400g of meat, leaving a little space at the bottom edge. Remove the top sheet of parchment and roll the meat into a tight log. Transfer the meat roll to a baking sheet. Add the whole garlic heads and tomatoes to the same sheet. Lightly drizzle the garlic with olive oil (or any neutral oil). Bake for 40 minutes at 200°C. When done, remove from the oven and let everything cool for about 15 minutes. While it cools, make the tzatziki: Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves out of their skins and mash them. Mix the Greek yogurt with the mashed roasted garlic, dill, mint, grated cucumber (finely grated and well squeezed to remove excess liquid), lemon juice, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then stir or blend until smooth. Remove the cooled meat from the parchment and tear or slice it into small pieces. Assemble the wraps: Spread tzatziki on a flatbread, add fresh cucumber slices (if using), the meat pieces, sliced red onion, and roasted tomatoes (peel the skins off first). Roll up tightly and toast on a skillet on medium-high heat.
