CH🎈 Balloon Sit Relay 🎈
You know those games you’ve waited your whole life to play with your children? This is that game for me!!
My mother used to organize this activity at all of our birthday parties growing up and I CANNOT WAIT to debut this game at our next kids party (whenever that may be). We have been playing it in quarantine and my girls LOVE it. Please do yourself a favor and try this out. It’s easy to set up...you can play with one kid or 15...adults can join in...and it gets everyone running and moving.
SETUP:
🎈 Blow up a bunch of balloons (I do roughly 4 per kid). Smaller (6-9 inch) balloons are best, but larger work too. Just make sure they are blown up enough to pop.
🎈 Pick a path to run and stick a chair at one end. I have my kids run about 25 yards.
TO PLAY:
🎈Give each kid a balloon. Have them line up and take turns running down, sitting on their balloon and popping it before running back.
🎈 In a party setting, you set up two chairs, make teams, and have the teams run a relay race.
🎈 With my 3 girls, we have been timing each of them and making a race of it. My 2.5 yo is able to pop about half of the balloons herself. She’s light so sometimes requires a boost and drop to help her out!
