I wanted to engage with manufacturers early to “warm” them up and build the relationships ahead of sending technical packs. Few of them I have met on Premier Vision trade show in Paris but I have been also cold messaging the factories to understand MOQs and lead in times and their environmental and sustainability certifications. There are many great places to find activewear manufacturers including Alibaba, Suplify and Global Source. I will shortlist up to 10 of my favourites to engage with and understand in the first instance if they are able of producing with non-plastic fabrics.
