HAI always place my headbands close to my front hairline and my wire and cloth headbands also slightly over my ears.
That placement alone keeps them more secure.
But if you don’t want to wear them the way I do, you may need anchor points to lock them in.
In this reel I’m using snap barrettes, bobby pins, and alligator clips to secure the headband to my hair.
I attach a small section of my hair to the band with each accessory so it grips to my actual hair, not just my head.
Also keep this in mind: your haircut, hair density, and even your head shape all affect how a headband fits and stays in place.
A pixie cut behaves differently than long hair.
Fine density behaves differently than thick density.
Placement and anchoring matter.
If you don’t want to wear headbands close to your hairline like I do and want them to stay put without constant adjusting, this technique should help.
