That your body will feel weird.
Your emotions will be all over the place.
You’ll crave things you didn’t even like before.
And the silence… will be so loud.
That you’ll grieve a version of yourself you thought were but who was actually just surviving.
That you’ll feel like a stranger in your own body.
That the “good days” might still leave you crying in the car.
And that sometimes, you’ll question if this whole thing is even worth it.
But here’s the truth no one told me:
This is the part where you meet yourself.
Not the version of you that was numbing, people-pleasing, or pretending.
But the real you.
The one who wants more.
The one who’s still here, even after everything you’ve been through.
This part is hard…
but it’s sacred.
