If you want to try something new, you could always learn to surf ABOVE the waves on a foilboard.
A foilboard is a surfboard that has a hydrofoil that extends below the board into the water, allowing the board to leave the surface of the water when it reaches the right speed.
The result is gives the rider the incredible sense that they are flying above the surf.

MACan’t believe someone filmed this moment!!! This afternoon Maui’s north shore celebrated @jackson_bunch_surfer_ birth into the @wsl world title contest competitions. Mid celebration Jackson paddled out and on his last wave he did this insane combo and had the whole beach screaming and yelling from lanes to pavills. Insane. Never seen the whole beach yell from down to up top - he’s got this!!

FE17th at the 2024 Aloha Classic - a painful and disappointing event for me 🙏 But I believe there are great things ahead 📈
I filmed this video yesterday morning, just after the end of the @pwaworldtour @iwt_wave_tour Aloha Classic because I wanted to share my real thoughts and feelings.
Obviously losing is always painful, but today with a cooler head I’m going to add a few things:
1. Because of my knee injury I was sailing at my 60-70%. Even though mentally I was feeling great, when you compete against the best in the world you have to be 100%, especially at Hookipa. Let’s get surgery and get back full power 🔥
2. The strong offshore gusty winds during the heat actually worried me a lot as I knew any unexpected movement could have hurt me. I’m glad my subconscious thought about long term and protected me.
3. I compete to challenge myself and reach my best version => A loss is just a learning experience to keep pushing and getting better. I know my time will come ❤️🔥
4. I’m so so grateful for the incredible support I had on the beach 🙏 My coach @ferdinandoloffreda always believing in me, my bro Mike and Cathy watching all day on the hill, @lucapasturini coming from Oahu with his incredible positive energy as usual, @francescomaui @isurf.it and all the Italian crew 🇮🇹
Looking forward to some last great windsurfing days at Hookipa! Let’s keep going, this is an amazing journey!💯
