MEMicrosoft has officially ended support for Windows 10, which means millions of PCs will stop receiving security updates. Without these updates, systems become more vulnerable to malware, performance issues, and long-term slowdowns.
The natural solution would be upgrading to Windows 11, but many computers made before 2018 show the “This PC can’t run Windows 11” message due to Microsoft’s strict hardware requirements. This leaves many users stuck between an unsupported OS and being pushed to buy a new laptop.
An open-source tool called FlyBy11 allows users to bypass these restrictions and install Windows 11 on unsupported hardware, giving older PCs a second life instead of replacing them entirely.
