The skill I want parents to notice?
Body doubling.
When a child avoids a task but can start once you sit nearby,
that’s not dependence—it’s their nervous system borrowing regulation.
I call this a parent superpower because it grows with them:
📚 studying with friends
🍽️ doing dishes with a spouse
💻 working alongside others as adults
