Comment GRIDLOCK for links & follow me for more patterns like this 🧶✨️ This technique is called interlocking crochet, and it's my favorite way to make reversible (two-sided) garments & accessories that you can wear inside-out 😍 In this video, I'm working on the gauge swatch for the Gridlock Jumper and Gloves. The patterns are available in my book #ReversibleCrochetSweaters 📚 The Gridlock patterns both use hand-dyed yarn from @arcanefibreworks in this gorgeous variegated green (Wandering Through The Woods) paired with a dark ultramarine color (Midnight). For the swatch, though, I paired the variegated with cream so that you can clearly see the stitches in the tutorial photos 😊 The book has 16 reversible patterns using my own interpretation of the interlocking crochet technique! Every time I go to make a new post Instagram reminds me to share my drafts to free up space…stop reminding me of old things when I want to share the new ones IG 😂 But this one is too good to let sit. Remember when everyone was sharing these type of project reveals? Yeah, I recorded some but never actually got around to sharing 😅 that’s just life these days! I must have been about 6/7 months pregnant with Ruby…how is she 3 months already??? This project is the Duality Blanket, it’s a reversible double sided crochet blanket made with interlocking crochet. I made mine with Pound of Love and Mandala from @lionbrandyarn to get that color work effect! Mandala is self striping and does all the work for you to really make a statement!
