Here’s the quick breakdown ⬇️ 🧠 What’s back in iPadOS 26.2? 1️⃣ Split View (YES, the old one) You can finally use Split View the way you did back in iOS 18. Clean. Familiar. Actually usable again. 2️⃣ Slide Over is back Drag an app straight from the Dock and it floats on top of your main app. It’s resizable, movable, and stays right where you need it. 👉 Small catch: For now, Slide Over works with one app at a time (not multiple like iOS 18). Still… it’s a win. 🎨 Bonus detail you’ll notice immediately • In portrait mode, the wallpaper looks one way • Rotate to landscape, and it subtly changes Little things, but very Apple. ⚙️ How to get it Settings → General → Software Update → iPadOS 26.2 Not perfect yet, but I’m honestly just happy Apple gave us something back. What is one feature you wish the iPad had? 💬💗 I truly love all the customization capabilities in iPadOS 17 (new wallpapers, lockscreen widgets, stickers) but I’m still trying to figure out how to effectively use Stage Manager especially on a smaller iPad. The windows are unfortunately just too tiny for proper multitasking and it doesn’t feel super intuitive to me. I definitely prefer to swipe up to switch apps or use the OG split screen method.
