CHHandling 1 Million RPS isn’t about code — it’s about smart architecture.
1️⃣ Traffic Distribution (Load Balancers)
➡️ Spreads incoming requests across many servers so nothing overloads.
Example: 1M requests split across 200 servers = ~5K requests per server.

➡️ Add more machines instead of making one server bigger.
Example: Flash sale traffic? Instantly launch 50 new API instances.

Example: Cached user data = millions of DB calls saved daily.

THShe worked as a mainframe developer for about 2 years.
Then she took a break to focus on her family.
That break turned into 8.5 years.
👉When her kids grew up and she moved to the UK, she felt ready to work again.
But one thing was clear, she didn’t want to go back to development.
A lot had changed in those years.
So instead of jumping into the first thing that sounded “safe,” she slowed down and thought.
📌She booked a clarity call with me because she was stuck between two options:
Business Analysis or Data Analysis.
⚡We talked,
About where she was coming from.
What kind of work she could actually see herself doing now.
And what both roles really look like once you’re inside them.
By the end of that call, the answer was clear.
Business Analysis made sense for her.
Now, an 8.5-year career gap changes the game.
Generic advice doesn’t work here.
So we didn’t do anything generic.
➡️We worked with what she already had.
➡️We reshaped how her experience was positioned.
➡️And we focused on real BA thinking, not pretending the gap didn’t exist.
Slowly, things started to click.
When interview time came, she wasn’t trying to “sound right.”
She knew what she was saying and why.
Today, she’s working as a Business Analyst at TCS in the UK, supporting projects for the Bank of Scotland.
And this part matters:
A career break doesn’t end anything.
It just changes the route.
The problem is, most beginners are never shown how to make that shift without guessing.
