El video muestra un acto de responsabilidad ambiental y pesca sostenible. Comienza con un primer plano de las manos de un pescador (usando guantes protectores) sosteniendo una centolla o cangrejo hembra. Al voltearla, se puede observar claramente una gran masa de color rojo oscuro o marrón bajo su abdomen: estos son miles de huevos que ella está cargando. El texto en pantalla dice: “Cangrejo hembra con huevos, de regreso al mar...”. Rhythm lives for a cuddle 🫠 Every time I step away she says “No thank you” and re-adheres to me like glue 😂 I kept distracting her, so I could sneak some 1-1 time with other horses… She did not approve 😂 Mares can be extraordinarily loving, but often they’re misunderstood. What I love about a mare is that they communicate clearly, not conveniently. Some horse training schools of thought prioritise a horse that automatically complies, which creates an expectation that anything less, is difficult. Geldings tolerate discomfort quietly (so are seen as easier) but a mare… she sends a lot of signals early and if a human misses these and keeps pushing, the mare escalates; which is why she can be seen as ‘moody.’ Horses remember how they were handled and so do people. We recognise patterns, both good and bad - especially how we’re spoken too, or ‘handled’ when things become inconvenient. These moments tell our nervous system: this is safe, this is not. When the experiences have been negative, a protective reaction can be seen as someone ‘holding a grudge.’ In society there seems to be a pressure for people to just ‘get over it,’ to reset, to forgive. But nervous systems don’t work on societal ideals - they work on experience. This is why when we retrain horses, trust returns through repetition, through being ‘handled’ well, again and again. This is also the case for people and why the kindness of a stranger can matter more to us than we expect. A gentle interaction from someone who owes us nothing softens our taught understanding that ‘care is conditional.’ It’s not and it’s easy to overlook just how powerful this is… This means at any point in time, without knowing someone’s story, a simple gesture can help remind someone they’re not moving through the world alone. How incredible is that 🤩 I hope you enjoy this little moment of a mare asking for a hug… she always brings a smile to my face and I hope her antics bring a smile to your face too 🫠🥰✨ #horses #horsemanship #cheval #equestrian #instagood
