As most projects go, things that seem simple get complicated, and vice versa. Or it’s simply all complicated. In the case of a cart that needs to travel in straight lines and curved lines, this posed an interesting design challenge with a few different solutions. A pivoting cart, a 3 wheeled cart, and a 4 wheeled, adjusted wheel base cart were all in the running. I picked the 4 wheeled adjusted base cart mainly because I liked it the most…write that in your engineering capstone project report and see what happens.
