This week for dinner I revisited Mickey’s Dining Car, a classic diner in downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota designed to resemble a railroad dining car! The food is tasty—especially the burgers + fries + onion rings and the blueberry pancakes definitely hit!

@mickeysdiningcar features a wide variety of traditional comfort food dishes like handcrafted burgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken wings, salads, sides like French fries, onion rings, and coleslaw as well as grilled cheese, patty melts, and old-time sweet treats like vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, & biscoff malts & shakes!

The diner ran in continuous operation at the same location from 1939 until the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The diner remained closed from this point until it reopened on the morning of October 3, 2024.
There are 2 locations:
-📍1950 West 7th St (been there since 1960)
-📍36 West 7th St St (been there since 1939) - the OG SPOT
HOURS🕦: Sun-Wed, 6am-7pm, Thurs-Sat, 6am-9pm
