Every flute I craft gets a last song before it’s sent out, a moment to listen to what the wood wants to sing, unplanned and created in the moment. Thank you, Jean, for trusting me with this beautiful instrument. May it bring you deep joy, peace, and many blessings. Most painters think 3D form comes from detail. It doesn’t. Form comes from value. If your objects look flat, it is because the value structure was never established. Three value families - shadow, midtone, and light - do more work than details ever will. Edges and temperature shifts make the form turn. Details just sit on top of it. Once the structure is right, the object looks dimensional before the accents even go in. If you want to learn this way of sculpting with paint inside my studio, my Patreon is open. RAW iPHONE VIDEO → PROFESSIONAL EDIT 🎬 Here’s the exact 3-node DaVinci Resolve workflow I use (it’s free!) ✨ NODE 1 – Primary Wheels • Eyedropper tool on something neutral (white wall, gray shirt) • Lift wheel up to open shadows • Gain wheel down to bring down highlights • Contrast slider up ✨ NODE 2 – Midtone Detail • Stay in Primary Wheels, top right • Drop Midtone Detail slider to -45 • This removes that digital phone look ✨ NODE 3 – Color Slice • Click Color Slice tool (toolbar, next to Curves) • Bump Saturation to 1.2 • Go to Skin panel → adjust Hue, Density, Saturation slightly ⚡ COPY TO ALL CLIPS IN 3 SECONDS: Right-click viewer → Grab Still → Timeline: shift-select all clips → Gallery: right-click still → Apply Grade Most people post their videos straight from their phone.
