ZAI want to thank everyone for the outpouring of birthday wishes for my 46th, and for standing by me over the last 17 years with Marley’s Mutts. Your support has meant everything.
This separation from the organization has been one of the most challenging chapters of my life, but I’m also stepping into new opportunities that give me hope and purpose. I’m excited to share that I’m now working with the @caravitafoundation, which focuses in high volume spay/neuter, the key variable to solve the shelter crisis in our community. I feel extremely blessed to be part of Caravita alongside an incredible group of rescuers and advocates.
I’m also partnering with @lettheanimalslive out of Israel, one of the region’s largest animal rescues, who are on the frontlines helping abandoned animals in Gaza, the West Bank, and beyond. This November, I’ll be traveling there to bring back three dogs in need of hope and forever homes. We’ll be looking for foster families for them — the foster link will be in my bio, and we’ll start sharing their stories and videos in the coming days.
While in Israel, I’ll also have the opportunity to speak at the country’s only rescue dog prison program, bringing and love and support with me, sharing my journey in sobriety and how the human–animal bond has completely transformed my life.
Thank you again for filling my sails with wind, for filling my heart with love, and for continuing to walk this path with me. Here’s to second chances, new beginnings, and the healing power of dogs.
