LI2025 hit hard, and 2026 began with emergency surgery.
I’m writing this not from a place of weakness, but because being down gives you a fresh perspective on life.
I had so many plans for my big 30th year- like racing my first 10k this weekend-all of which have gone out the window.
As someone who thrives outdoors, loves being active, and lives life full-tilt, being stuck has been tough. But it’s here I’ve learned new things about myself. This is where growth happens.
I’m learning patience. And, more importantly, what I truly want out of life.
I’ve always lived at 100 miles per hour, ready for the next challenge. Now, I’m focusing on the little things we take for granted: time with my family, walking my dogs, having a job that lets me travel and truly live.
This year is all about growth, personal and business 🥳
For that, I am so grateful. 🫶🏼

LII’ve got a new perspective on life…
To surrender is not to give up, it’s to remove any resistance that’s getting in the way of what’s meant to happen.
Life has really dealt myself and some of my closest friends THE WORKS this year. Yet, on paper you’d say it’s one of my most “successful” years.
And it’s because I’ve learned that the more I resist to trying to control the situation, the heavier it actually gets. If I let things happen and simply “do what I can” or “do my best,” then that’s enough.
Like taking the extra mental health days which later on translated into the month where I received the most opportunities. Because I had the recharged energy to show up for them and receive them.
