THI’ve spent years talking about skin optimisation and I really don’t regret that….
But #midlife has taught me that optimisation does not mean the same as care.
Skin can improve with effort, yes. But it can also suffer under constant pressure.
I am not interested in chasing perfect routines anymore. I’m interested in skincare that supports skin AND real life.
This is the beginning of a shift towards anti-optimisation skincare. Where consistency is flexible, routines are bendable, and skin isn’t treated like a project. My own skin has been a project for content creation for years now & that phase has run its course.
I am tired of sharing the message that there is something wrong with midlife skin & that we have to transform it. A lot has changed for me over the last 5+ years and this shift in approach reflects the new stage I am in, and the advice and message I feel comfortable sharing.
