Aston didn't just ask for the foal back—he offered a deal. He worked out a trade, offering his own prize-winning supplies and extra labor to the farmer in exchange for the young horse. Impressed by Aston's dedication, the farmer finally agreed.
The Reunion
That evening, Aston led the small foal back to the original meadow. As they approached, the mare stopped her pacing. She froze, ears pricked forward, sniffing the air.
The Moment: The foal let out a high-pitched cry.
The Reaction: The mare galloped toward the gate, her mane flying in the wind.
The Result: When Aston opened the latch, the two nuzzled each other instantly, their breaths syncing in a quiet, rhythmic peace.

Everyone will mention nutrition, hydration, pacing, etc etc for a solid run.
But if you’re a heavier runner, and you’ve got a decent size to your quads, hammys and adductors?
Vaseline is high up on the list for things you need for your runs.
Nothing worse than chafing after 2/3k in, especially on a race day or a faster paced session.
(Just maybe don’t put it on as vigorously as this)
