You don’t remember the errands. You remember: Learning to ski. Bike rides after dinner. Snow days. Summer nights that stretched longer than they should have. Most families don’t move for a house. They move because they want more of this. That’s the quiet reason. This is why people choose to build their lives here. If you’ve been thinking about that lately, I’d love to hear what’s pulling you. #parkcity #adventure #raisingkids #parkcityrealtor

Most people think moving somewhere like Park City is about the house. But it’s really about this. Watching your kids try something hard. Spending time outside together. Letting childhood stretch a little further. These are the moments families remember. #parkcityutah #parkcitylife #parkcitykids #mountainfamily #utahliving

Life here just feels… Lighter. More centered around actually having fun. It’s not just the skiing or the mountains - it’s the way the whole town is built around this idea that life should be enjoyed. That a Tuesday morning with friends on the mountain isn’t indulgent, it’s just how we live. After 22 years here, that’s still what gets me. The way this place brings out the best in people. The way it makes the good stuff easy and the hard stuff more manageable. And honestly? That’s why I love what I do so much. I get to help people find their way into this life. Not just sell them a house - share what makes this place so special. 📌Follow me for more of what it’s like to live in PC. For a long time we weren’t sure we were going to stay in North Idaho. When home prices doubled during Covid, the housing market felt really hard. We needed to move into a bigger house and honestly considered leaving the area to find something more affordable. Winters here can also feel long, and I’m definitely someone who loves sunshine ☀️ We talked about moving toward the beach in South Carolina… or even moving closer to my family in Oklahoma. But one winter my husband impulsively rented skis for our entire family and we decided to give it a go. I had only tried skiing a few times in my life and wasn’t exactly thrilled about doing it with an 18-month-old 😵‍💫. We packed the car, wrestled everyone into gear, and headed up to Schweitzer. After all the nerves and hauling kids and gear up the hill, we finally made it to the bunny hill… and had such a blast. And that was the moment something shifted for us. Winters suddenly felt different when we were outside enjoying them. The views are SO incredible, the mountains are beautiful, and the ski resorts here are amazing without being completely packed like some bigger destinations ⛷️🏔️ There are a lot of reasons we love North Idaho… but honestly, I think skiing was the moment we realized we wanted to stay 🤍

Fresh mountain air. Ski days after school. Weekends on hiking trails instead of in traffic. That’s what life in Breckenridge and the Colorado mountains looks like. More families are leaving big cities and choosing mountain towns across Summit County for a different pace of life. One where kids grow up surrounded by nature, adventure, and a real sense of community. Imagine your kids learning to ski at Breckenridge Ski Resort, biking mountain trails all summer, and growing up in a place people travel across the world just to visit. Sometimes the biggest life upgrade isn’t the house. It’s the lifestyle outside the front door. If you’re thinking about moving to Colorado, buying a second home in Breckenridge, or finding a mountain home for your family, follow along. I share everything about Breckenridge real estate, mountain living, and buying property in Summit County. ❤️ Follow for Breckenridge real estate, Colorado mountain homes, and insider tips on living in the mountains. #breckenridgecolorado #movingtocolorado #coloradomountains #lmountainliving #coloradofamily

Not because the kitchen is bigger. Not because you “made it.” But because one day you’ll look up… and realize your life finally slowed down enough to feel it. There’s a version of your story where you stay. You renew the lease. You circle for parking. You tell yourself, “One more year.” And then there’s the other version. Saturday mornings become pancakes and bikes in the driveway. A knock on the door from the neighbour’s kid. Daycare parents turning into real friends. Porch lights on at Halloween. Your dog is 2 minutes from a trail. Evenings that feel longer because your commute is shorter. You don’t lose excitement. You trade it for belonging. You don’t lose energy. You trade it for space. Because when you choose a family-friendly community, you’re not buying square footage. You’re buying sidewalk chalk summers. Street hockey. Safe parks. A childhood they’ll actually remember. The house was never the point. It’s the life that house makes possible. And the families who make the leap? They rarely say, “I wish we waited.” They say, “I wish we did this sooner.” If you’re feeling that pull… Maybe it’s time to choose the life. 👉 If you’re thinking about making a move, whether this spring or sometime soon, I put everything I’ve learned (after four moves, 5 years of parenthood, and helping hundreds of young families) into a Suburb Guide you can skim through in minutes. ✅ COMMENT or DM “GUIDE” and I’ll send it your way. POV: You moved to Park City and now… • You own 4 puffers •The heels are in the form of snow boots with wedges • Your kids ski better than you, and may call you old bc you avoid the terrain parks •You’re unusually fit but often sore from random sledding days after hiking in the snow for an hour • Your friends won’t stop visiting because who doesn’t love a free place to stay in a bougie mountain town! • You measure traffic in minutes, not hours • You can’t ever go back to living where it’s flat •And city life becomes a faint memory 6 months in and the “regret” is real. Today my husband and I got the chance to ski together and it reminded us how much we love the mountains. This is the place we fell in love—before we were married, before we were mom and dad. Being back out there together felt like a small glimpse of our old life. The mountains have a way of making the rest of life feel small. Do you have a place that always resets you? #motherhood #coloradoliving #skiday #marriage #familyadventures

I can’t imagine I’ll ever look back and think “I wish we would have moved somewhere that wasn’t so family friendly”. When you’re ready for a change and deciding where to plant roots, you have to be incredibly honest with yourself. There is a massive difference between where you want to live as an adult and where you want your children to be raised. Instead of just looking for a house with a nice kitchen or a specific zip code, start looking for a place where our kids can actually be kids. The Provo area caught me by surprise in the best way possible. Why is Utah so family friendly? The infrastructure is built for us. ➡️Almost every neighborhood has a park within walking distance. The recreation is accessible. ➡️We can be at the lake kayaking or paddle boarding in the morning and back home for a nap by noon. The safety factor is real. Coming from a law enforcement background I look at crime rates differently than most. ➡️The peace of mind I have here is something I couldn’t find elsewhere. The community events are constant. ➡️From local farmers markets to massive holiday light displays there is always something intentional for families to do together. The four seasons are breathtaking. ➡️Watching the mountains turn vibrant orange in the fall or seeing the first snowfall through the eyes of a child makes the move worth every bit of the stress. We braved the move because we realized that our environment was shaping our stress levels more than we cared to admit. Moving state lines is intimidating especially with a family but the payoff is a slower pace of life where you can actually breathe. If you are tired of the city feel and the constant worry about where your kids are playing it might be time to look at what we have going on here in Utah. I would love to help you see if this is the right fit for your family just like it was for mine. Comment GUIDE and I’ll DM you my free Utah County Community Guide which is full of information about moving to Provo, Utah and its major suburbs. It has stats on local schools, crime rates, home prices, average incomes and a little summary of each city.
