OLYour new pixie cut isn’t “hard to maintain” …
you’re probably just missing 1 of the 2 ESSENTIAL things most short pixies need to feel top tier.
1) A bomb cut! Most clients tend to look at the end result, meaning you look for the finished look, style or color. But most seasoned short hair stylist know that the cut is 50% percent of the battle. A great cut should NOT require you to come to the salon every week or two weeks. (Unless you want to 😉) A great cut is easy to mould, and can be wore without any styling.
2) Proper relaxer techniques. I’m not gonna lie, I hate when clients relax their hair at home. 🫠🫣 I totally get being budget friendly, HOWEVER over processed in some areas and under-processed key detail areas takes away from the overall vibe of your pixie. Allow a trained, licensed professional to do your chemical services for the best results.

DAThis #Pixie maintenance life isn’t for the weak I tell you! It’s crazy to think I’ve had my pixie cut for over 16 years! Of course I love to switch and try different styles in between but there’s nothing like my pixie !

Note: You can use Whatever foam your heart desires. Nairobi was what I had at the house during this time.

You can also do this with a Leave In Conditioner.
I suggest to my clients to Wash and remold atleast once a week. If you can get two weeks out of your style… yall are the real MVP’s.
So if you ever wake up because you slept bad and mess up your sideburns or have prints in the back you don’t want to see. This is for you❤️

WHMorning Beautiful Ladies... there's nothing more satisfying than a good mould. I try and wash and mould my hair the night before so it's less stressful. This routine works all the time. That's why I've been able to rock my pixie for 20 years !!!! Now I'm really showing my age. 😅
