🔥✊1-Rep Minute 1-Rep Push-Up Challenge ✊🔥 Tag a buddy you think could crush this 1 rep perfectly. 🏋️‍♂️ ✅This is 1-minute pushup challenge; the setup is simple 30 seconds down and 30 seconds up for 1 rep. ✅ Abs braced, glutes tight, body in a stiff line from head to heel NO sagging or pike of the hips – body straight as a board is the goal. No Weights at Home? No Problem! This is a prime example of how to make light loads go along way, which we recently did a podcast episode on as well. Advanced folks can throw these into working sets of 1 minute on 1 minute off x 5 sets for an amazing upper body pump that feels like you just bench pressed hundreds of pounds without lifting a single weight. For my beginners out there try hands elevated on a bench or box and overtime you can work your way to the floor version, as you get stronger. The push-up is a compound, multi-joint movement. It doesn‘t just work your chest - it also targets the anterior deltoids and triceps. While the chest muscles are the primary focus, your shoulders and arms play a major role in the movement. To perform push-ups with proper form and get the most benefit, here are 4 key details you need to focus on: 1. Elbow angle & hand position Keep elbows at about a 45° angle by externally rotating your shoulders. Spread your fingers for better stability and wrist comfort. 2. Shoulders down Avoid shrugging. Keep shoulders away from your ears to reduce strain and improve control. 3. Let your shoulder blades move Retract on the way down, protract on the way up. This helps your chest fully stretch and contract. 4. Tight core, no sagging Keep your body in a straight line. Engage your core to prevent your hips from dropping or lifting. #fitness #bodybuilding #pushup
