RAA bit of a teaser from my next video - what you can find on the Hungarian roadside? Apparently some bright yellow & green U minerals with uraninite in sandstone matrix.
NOTE: This amount of radiation is NOT dangerous unless you eat it or are exposed to it for a long time. Still, you have to know how to properly handle radioactive minerals to avoid contamination. Do not handle them if you are not aware of the risks.
Those rocks got there by accident - a truck backed over the metal pole and it turned the rocks out from the ground. Otherwise they would have remained underground where they belong.
The Kővágószőlős Uranium Mine operated from 1957 to 1997, for nearly 40 years. Nearly 50 million tons of rock was mined. 5 shafts were established in an area of 65 square kilometers. The maximum depth of the mine was around 1300 meters. There is risk of collapse in a large abandoned wooded area due to many near-surface excavations. It is a Permian sandstone-type uranium deposit.

NATakich składowisk w Fukushimie jest dziesiątki. Czarne worki z radioaktywnymi odpadami stały się stałą częścią krajobrazu Fukushimy po 2011 roku, kiedy doszło do katastrofy w pobliskiej elektrowni jądrowej.
Warto jednak pamiętać, że jest to składowisko tymczasowe odpadów nisko aktywnych. To ważne, ponieważ wysokoaktywne, czyli te niebezpieczne, przechowywane są w całkowicie inny sposób i w innych miejscach.
W workach tych znajdują się pozostałości z opuszczonych mieszkań czy radioaktywna gleba wywieziona ze skażonych obszarów. Inaczej mówiąc, są to pozostałości po akcji oczyszczania miast.
