CHY’all remember when I was carrying on about being fearful about my daughter learning to read in Pre-K? 😅
Well… I found a solution that offers FREEK 7 day trail.
We just started using @_readingcom and it’s already been super helpful. I told myself instead of stressing, I’m going to be proactive.
We’re only 15 minutes in a day and I can already see her engaging with it in a way that feels fun, not forced.
And listen I’m going to be raw and honest with y’all through this whole journey. I’ll let you know if this app is actually worth downloading.
Because we like to save our coins over here 👏🏾 That’s why I love that they offer a free 7-day trial.
Try it first. Make sure your child vibes with it. Make sure it works for your family.
But let me say this clearly this isn’t a “download and disappear” type of app. It requires parental support.

NAWe’re entering a new season with the kiddos, and I’m honestly so excited about it! Fun fact- I spent ten years as a classroom educator, and my Masters Degree is in Education! But I still felt a tiny bit nervous about teaching the kids to read— just wanting to make sure I give them a strong foundation to love books and learning.
While we don’t do a lot of screen time, all screen time is not created equal. 😅 I’ve been SO impressed with the @_readingcom app, and highly recommend it. It’s been so fun watching Raylen learn quickly, thanks to the incredible design of the app. Even Asher gets in on the fun, and loves singing the songs and practicing the games. Lessons are clear, reinforced through review, well-designed, and easy to follow. Raylen gets to practice her listening skills, reading, and even writing in the app, while reviewing the content through fun games. I’m a huge fan of making learning fun, and Reading.com does it!
