ON🚀 Handling CAPTCHAs in Automation using 2Captcha 🛠️
Hey everyone! 👋
🔍 Automating CAPTCHA challenges can be tricky, but with 2Captcha and Selenium, the process becomes more manageable. In this project, I used the Page Object Model (POM) approach to integrate 2Captcha's service, automatically solving Google reCAPTCHA challenges in a web form.
Code Breakdown:
- base_page.py: Core methods for interacting with elements—finding, clicking, and entering text.
- captcha_page.py: Handles form input, CAPTCHA solving via 2Captcha, and form submission.
- test_captcha.py: A Selenium-based test script automating CAPTCHA solving and submitting the form.
Key Features:

✅ Seamless form submission after CAPTCHA resolution
✅ Validating successful submission
Why Automate CAPTCHA Handling? CAPTCHAs are designed to stop bots, but testers need efficient ways to handle them in automation workflows. This method demonstrates how you can integrate 2Captcha into your tests, making CAPTCHA handling much easier for repetitive tasks.
Note: This video failed due to an ERROR_ZERO_BALANCE from 2Captcha, but the implementation would work with sufficient funds. Of course, there's always room for improvement, and this approach can be enhanced with more robust error handling and optimized performance.
