Here’s how we do it 👇 1️⃣ Mix Alginate 🥣 → Use correct powder-to-water ratio. A smooth, bubble-free mix is key for accuracy. Work quickly since alginate sets fast. 2️⃣ Take the chosen impression tray & load it with alginate 🦷🛠️ → Spread evenly and avoid trapping air. Ensure sufficient material to cover the entire master cast. 3️⃣ Seat the tray over the master cast → Gently press to cover all anatomical details. Do not rock or shift the tray, as this may distort the impression. 4️⃣ Allow alginate to set ⏱ → Keep it undisturbed until firm. Setting time varies with temperature & water ratio. 5️⃣ Carefully separate the tray → Now you have a negative replica of the master cast. Avoid tearing the alginate. 6️⃣ Pour dental stone into the alginate mold 🪨 → Mix stone to the right consistency, vibrate gently to prevent voids and air bubbles. 7️⃣ Allow the stone to set fully ⏳ → Patience here = accuracy later.
