I just had to share a humorous parent moment with you today.
It’s moments like these I just want to bottle up and hold onto forever. They are eye rollingly annoying in the moment but in hindsight they are hilarious.
And speaking as a mom who has one child who would do anything you ask and another 2 who question everything- well let’s just say I worry far less about my two little hellions than my angel.
They are bold. Decisive. Confident. And while they like to think they know everything, they are really the most curious of them all.
And curiosity is how you go far in life.
Here’s to the kids (whether they are yours or not) that make you shake your head and pull your hair out- at the same time. 😜

True Story: we are the only vendor of Venchi chocolate in the state of Missouri. I relentlessly emailed this company until they agreed to sell us their chocolate in bulk. I was persistent because I need it. But also because I want to share it with our community. (I'm also selling it well under their suggested retail price!)
Our Grocery Store is open on Valentines Day! We won't have hot food- but definitely swing by for chocolate, fresh pasta, ravioli.. something deliciously sexy to celebrate, whether you're with yourself, your lover(s) or your best gals. ❤️🔥

Ugh. I get it. The fundamentals of exercise and nutrition can sound so eye-rollingly boring, I know. 🙄
✏️establish consistent eating patterns
✏️consume ample fruits and veggies
✏️eat mostly nutrient-dense foods
✏️stay sufficiently hydrated
✏️exercise regularly
✏️sleep 7-8 hours a night
✏️manage stress levels
and for some, moderating your calorie intake may be relevant as well.
But ask yourself: Am I actually doing all of these things consistently?
Because the reality is, most of us are not. Most of us could stand to make improvement in one or more of these areas. 😅
And this is important because this is the stuff that can “move the dial” the most, so to speak.
This is when having a qualified coach can be particularly helpful - when they know how to strip things down and simplify the program for you. Sometimes, JUST the basics is exactly what you need.
Focus on the big rocks first before worrying about little pebbles. ❤️
(Of course, sometimes the problem is not in trying to do more more more but rather, knowing how to implement the basic skills. That’s a different topic!)
