**Your mix gets wider as it gets louder. Here's how to fix it. 👇** Your wide elements — reverbs, pads, spread synths — are louder than your centred elements. So as the track builds, the sides take over. The fix: switch your compressor to M/S mode. Compress the side signal independently. Faster attack, lower threshold on the sides than the mid. You're not making things narrower. You're keeping the width consistent across the whole dynamic range. Controlled and intentional > drifting and messy. 🎧 #mixing #stereowidth #musicproduction
