CEIt’s back! 🎉 I’m relieved and excited to have my quilt back safe and sound. It was fun to unpack it and read the judges feedback. It was minimal but all positive, so I’m happy! 😃
I don’t think mine was one of the quilts that people were requesting to see the back of much, so I’m excited to show you this backing fabric! 🥰 How amazing is this!? It’s such a great print in the same colours and I like the contrast of the organic shapes with the more structured piecing and straight line quilting.
Now I just need to decide where this beauty will live. I don’t have a lot of wall space left to hang something this large, but I am tempted to try to find a place to display it for a little while at least! Now that it has been in a show it feels almost wrong to put it into use, but I’ll be honest, it might become a couch quilt, and yes, my dog will get to lie on it sometimes. 🤷♀️
