There are several reasons I believe this is any nail tech’s best marketing strategy!
# 1 - When you’re at the cash register, the drive thru, at social events - your nails can quickly become a conversation! This means more people will be aware of your skill & become clients, or be able to refer other people to you!
# 2 - My nails got me stopped at a traffic light last year and I *HAPPENED* to be recording a video to send to my long distance friend when two lovely ladies honked the horn and demanded to get on my books. This video went viral and gained me 80,000 followers. Most of which were local people who wanted to be my clients too!
# 3 - It’s the cherry on top when building trust with clients. Yes, I wear the same product I’m putting on you today! I love it THAT much! Yes, I use the same implements on myself that I use on you — my disinfecting process makes me feel THAT safe!
# 4 - If you really have a passion for nails - why wouldn’t you want to enjoy them too?! 💅🏻

I’m not going to lie as nail techs, we don’t have all the answers. In school, we’re taught how to handle certain situations, but every once in a while something happens that truly makes you stop and question yourself.
When I saw this, my first thought was: What should I do?!
Honestly, I was stunned 😭 however I carefully removed what was already lifted, proceeded to advise her to see a doctor and that was it I was genuinely nervous to touch anything else.
