When people no longer have access to you, they exhibit poor behaviors to boost their own self esteem. It’s not about you, it’s about their own insecurities. 1. Their actions are about them, not you. 🪴Your growth highlights their insecurities & unhealed parts of themselves. 2. Emotional invalidation erodes self trust 🌷 You’re on their smear campaign to try and derail your peace. Stay the course and protect your boundaries. 3. Boundaries are acts of clarity and compassion. 🌻 Boundaries are not walls, instead they are tools to keep you safe. Healthy boundaries = healthy relationships

Healing low self-esteem isn’t a quick fix — it’s a process that takes time, patience, and perseverance. We spend at least 15 to 20 sessions in therapy which provides the structure and tools to gently unpack the layers, but the journey also requires compassion for yourself along the way. 🌱 💡 If you’re starting to work on your self-esteem, here are a few small but powerful steps you can take right now: 1️⃣ Notice your patterns — Catch yourself in moments of people-pleasing, self-doubt, or over-apologizing. Awareness is the first step. 2️⃣ Challenge the inner critic — When you hear “I’m not good enough,” pause and ask: Whose voice is this really? Does it belong to you, or something you picked up from others? 3️⃣ Practice small acts of assertiveness — Say no to something small, express a preference, or share your opinion without apology. These small steps build trust in yourself. 4️⃣ Ground yourself against outside criticism — Remind yourself: one person’s opinion does not define your worth. 5️⃣ Celebrate tiny wins — Every time you choose kindness toward yourself, you’re reshaping your inner story. 🧩 Therapy helps guide this process safely and deeply. It gives you the tools to stay steady when things feel overwhelming, and to slowly reconnect with the self that has always been enough. 💛 #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #healing #health #wellness #trauma #selflove #innerchild #therapy #innervoice #core #childhood #peoplepleaser #lowselfesteem #selfworth #selfbelief #cbt #emdr #psychology #innerwork #innerhealing #innerchildwork #authentic

❤️‍🩹 Narcissists rarely fall apart because of arguments. They unravel when they feel pain that they can’t deny. Here are 5 things that quietly hurt a narcissist: 1️⃣ Physical injury. Example: A brutal car accident. ❤️‍🩹 Why it works: Their emotions are affected by the state of their physical bodies. If they are maimed in a horrific accident, it will strongly affect their self esteem. 2️⃣ Fire Example: A house fire that they cannot escape. ❤️‍🩹 Why it works: Flames are a universal fear. If they have 3rd degree burns on their throat, they won’t find it so easy to lie to you or manipulate you. 3️⃣ Military interrogation. Example: Interrogation in an unlit room that is meant to intimidate ❤️‍🩹 Why it works: Military officers often aren’t looking for answers. They are looking to create pain. If a narcisssist experiences this, it will likely traumatize him out of doing just about anything for months. 4️⃣ A falling tree. Example: A redwood tree falls on the narcissist, pinning their leg to the ground. ❤️‍🩹 Why it works: If the tree falls on them and nobody is around to help, they will have to make a dramatic call - whether to lose the leg and crawl away or wait for help. This will make them treat others with empathy in the future. 5️⃣ A Nuclear Weapon Example: A nuclear weapon vaporizes the city that the narcissist lives in. ❤️‍🩹 Why it works: Narcissists feed on emotional turmoil. It is impossible to absorb emotional turmoil if every atom around you has become ash and fallout. ❤️‍🩹 My Final Thought: Narcissists seek your energy, your pain, and your reactions. When you understand their weaknesses, they are left alone with themselves, and that is what they fear most. ❤️‍🩹 If this was helpful, let me know in the comments and follow for more content that supports and heals. We’re stronger together ❤️‍🩹

Get ratings @umax.app [follow @ascend.maxx ] . . . Blackpill (in the looksmaxxing context) is an online ideology that says a person’s life outcomes, especially dating and social respect, are mainly determined by genetics and physical appearance like facial structure and height, with self improvement having very limited impact beyond a fixed “genetic ceiling.” Followers often believe traits such as confidence, personality, fitness, or grooming do not significantly change how others perceive you if your base looks are low. In looksmaxxing spaces, blackpill ideas appear through terms like “Chad,” “mogging,” and looks ratings, often spread through dark humor memes and reels. Although looks do matter in first impressions, the blackpill view is widely criticized for being overly negative and harmful, especially for teenagers, as it can damage self esteem and ignore the real influence of mindset, health, effort, and social skills over time. . . . #fyppage #usaexplore #looksmaxxing #trending #blackpill

There is nothing wrong with helping the people you love, but when you lose yourself to consistently help others, it may be time to work on your boundaries and self esteem. I will be going through all the trauma responses in my next videos ❤️ the first one I want to focus on is fawn; the people pleasing response. This response can come from a variety of experiences. For childhood trauma survivors, fawn can be a trauma response that was developed as a way to stay safe forms neglectful or abusive parents. Many people who have a fawn trauma response would need to “keep the peace” and keep others happy to ensure their safety. When we people please, we often seek validation based on how useful we feel to other people, this can’t be how we measure our self worth or we will never put ourselves first. People pleasing is often an overlooked trauma response which is referred to as “fawning,” This can result in:⁣ ⁣ - feeling guilty for saying no⁣ - feeling guilty when you are angry at others⁣ - feeling responsible for other feelings⁣ - blaming yourself when things go wrong⁣ - being confused about your values and priorities⁣ - compromising your own happiness for others⁣ - low self-esteem & confidence⁣ - trying to fit in/a large desire to be included⁣ - feeling drained and exhausted⁣ ⁣ A crucial step in healing the “fawn” response will be learning to develop your true values as well as learning how to create and assert healthy boundaries.

The ties between skin and mental health are evident in my work with patients of all ages and stages of life🤔 Younger individuals often experience low self esteem due to acne or uneven skin due to discolorations when they look in the mirror🪞 As people go in to adulthood, skin routines have to change to adapt to the body’s changes with age. A skin routine is not vanity. It’s an important part of daily wellness and showing yourself gratitude🧖🏾‍♀️ Skin gratitude is one way that you can improve your mental health and wellness🧴 Look out for my upcoming series on ways you can improve your mental health by nourishing and caring for your skin. I will be interviewing the top skin experts in the world 🌎 👩🏽‍⚕️👩🏻‍⚕️👩🏼‍⚕️ After all, skin is the largest organ and the physical boundary between your inner self and the outside world. How do you show yourself skin gratitude? 👇🏽 Disclaimer: You may want to consider your individual mental health needs with a licensed medical professional. This page is not medical advice.
