Answering your questions about these skil suits now that I’ve had a chance to ski in both of them! Verdict? I’m obsessed with this new ski line from @hm_move and I’m excited for all of my future ski weekends! Below are my detailed thoughts on each piece! Suit one: - love the stylish fit and the fact it’s lined is 👌🏼for warmth - it’s labelled as water-repellent but I was in the snow in this building snowmen and surviving the slopes without any hints of dampness. - slim fit but I layered a pair of merino wool thermals under easily and it uber stretchy too! - it’s slim enough to layer under a ski jacket for colder days too - has a zip pocket for lift passes! - it’s not petite friendly per say but once inside ski boots it’s perfect for me and I’m 5’1 - sizing is true to size and I ordered my regular medium - I found to have my phone or anything with me I would need a waist bag Suit two: - this suit is incredibly warm and has adjustable waist tabs so it’s easily to layer over thermals and mid layers - for a slimmer fit order a size down like I did. I ordered a small and normally I’m a medium. If you want a looser fit I would order your normal size. - I love that it comes with an attached both to clean your goggles - it’s not petite friendly but once I had ski boots on it was perfect. I’m 5’1 - suit is rated water and wind proof and I agree! - the design is very flattering on! How much does it cost to stay in a catered ski chalet? ⛷️ Staying in a catered ski chalet always seems like a premium way to do a ski holiday but it doesn’t have to be. Being able to choose a shorter catered ski break (which I haven’t seen other chalet companies offering) is a great way to save money or if you’re short for time. Ski Weekends have 5 ski-in, ski-out chalets in Avoriaz, a chalet in Morzine, one in Les Gets and one in Courchevel 1650. The best value option is the Morzine chalet and you can actually get a 7 night stay in Courchevel for the same price as a 4 night stay in Avoriaz at the same VIP level. If you want a last minute April deal they’ve just lowered their prices and you can get a further £25 off pp using code WST25 or if you’re looking for next year, make sure you sign up to their newsletter through their website for their exclusive deals and discounts. If you want to ski on the cheap next season, then the algorithm has blessed you right now 👀 Ive ski’d weekends for the past 2 seasons, here are my top 3 cheapest places to ski at… And when I say cheap, I’m referring to ALL costs in resort, with all 3 resorts averaging under £5 pints and under £12 meals 🤑 3. BARDONECCHIA 🇮🇹 🔹VERY good budget option 🔹The resort is a good size and there’s enough for most people here 🔹Cheap as chips accoms options all around town 🔹Great value food in town too 🔹Accoms & lift pass was £159.46 each for the weekend 2. SAUZE D’OULX 🇮🇹 🔹Your best budget option for a week 🔹It’s a HUGE ski area, arguably an intermediate skiers paradise 🔹Town is lively 🔹Probably the best value on mountain food I’ve ever had 🔹Huge slice of pizza with a beer for €8, you CANNOT complain about that 🔹You can get accoms & lift pass for around £230 for the weekend 1. APRICA 🇮🇹 🔹Cheapest place I’ve been to by far 🔹Everything about it: lift pass, accommodation, food & drink out 🔹£8 round for 4 drinks on happy hour 🔹Honestly, this is top tier budget skiing 🔹It’s only downside as a resort is a north facing mountain, so it can get icy in parts 🔹Accoms & lift pass was £171.97 each for the weekend 🔹I know, it was more expensive than Bardo, BUT it was SO CHEAP out in town that it has to be the best option.
