💻 2. DSA Prep (Do This Right)
* Focus on patterns, not number of questions
* Key topics: Trees, Graphs, Sliding Window, DP (selective)
* Practice on LeetCode
* Aim for ~150–200 well-understood patterns
🧩 3. Interview Approach (Most Important)
* Clarify requirements first
* Think out loud (don’t go silent)
* Start brute force → then optimize
* Write clean, readable code
* Always test with examples
🏗️ 4. System Design (For 2+ Years Experience)
* Start with requirements, not architecture
* Focus on scalability, trade-offs, and bottlenecks
* Cover basics: caching, load balancing, DB choices
🗣️ 5. Behavioral Round
* Very important for Amazon
* Use STAR method
* Prepare stories on:
* Conflict
* Failure
* Ownership
* Impact
‼️ Common Mistakes
* Jumping to code too quickly
* Not explaining thought process
* Ignoring edge cases
* Over-optimizing too early
🎯Final Strategy
* Daily: 1–2 problems + revision
* Weekly: 1–2 mock interviews
* Consistency > intensity
* Use Chatgpt / Gemini to understand patterns in DSA/ do mock interviews/ frequently asked questions etc
That’s the strategy—simple, but not easy.

RBWhen to use which approach in subarray problems:
Sliding Window
• Elements are non-negative
• You need subarray sum / max / min
• Window can expand and shrink predictably
Kadane’s Algorithm
• Elements can be positive or negative
• You need the maximum subarray sum
• Subarray must be contiguous
HashMap (Prefix Sum)
• Elements can be positive, negative, or zero
• You need an exact target sum
• Counting subarrays or checking existence is required
Different problems need different tools.
Once you identify the pattern, the solution becomes straightforward.
