HACK SQUATS 🔥🔥 If you have never used this machine before, or maybe you have but it felt uncomfortable…allow me to help 🤞🏽 First up…DONT ADD WEIGHT YET! Different hack squats by different manufacturers often vary—be it starting load if the machine itself, angle of the machine, etc. If the machine is very upright, prepare to be humbled 🤣 Next, find a foot placement that allows you to get solid depth and to CONTROL the entire rep. Don’t bounce out of the bottom. Aim for ass to ankles and if you don’t have access to enough ROM due to the machine, add yoga blocks between the shoulder supports and your shoulders. If you don’t have access to super deep ROM because your body doesn’t do that (yet,) get as deep as you CAN and your depth will improve over time. Let’s not forget our feetsies. Push through your entire foot. Just because a machine provides external stability doesn’t mean you should get on there and just passively move from point A to point B. Do everything with the intent of mastery and progression. If you’re NOT trying to have stronger and/or bigger quads, you don’t need to be friends with this machine. If you ARE tryna have some solid thighs though…definitely worth fostering a relationship with this thang 🤣 Questions/comments about the hack ? Hit me in the comments 🫡
