Un moment complètement irréel 🥹 Le temps s’est arrêté, plus aucun bruit. Observer un orang-outan dans son habitat naturel, libre, puissant et tellement paisible à la fois, c’est une sensation impossible à décrire. On réalise à quel point ces instants sont rares, précieux… et fragiles. 🇮🇩 Itinéraire 2 semaines à Sumatra + budget Souvent visitée uniquement pour aller voir les orang-outans dans la jungle, on s’est dit que cette île valait la peine d’être explorée. Alors on l’a fait 👀 🚌 Notre itinéraire à Sumatra • Bukit Lawang - 3 jours (3 nuits) • Lac Toba - 4 jours (4 nuits) • Vallée d’Harau - 4 jours (3 nuits) • Les îles Mentawai (Sipora)- 3 jours (3 nuits) + 1 nuit dans un bus entre le lac Toba et la vallée d’Harau et 1 nuit à Padang pour rejoindre les îles Mentawaï le lendemain 💸 Budget (par personne) • Transports : 125€ - comprend les déplacements entre chaque étape, la location de scooters et l’essence / n’inclut pas le vol pour se rendre à Sumatra depuis la France • Activités : 164€ - majoritairement constitué du trek orang-outans • Nourriture : 90€ - on mange vraiment pour pas cher sur cette île • Hébergement : 115€ - on voyage en backpack donc ce poste de dépense est assez bas • Autre : 10€ - cartes SIM et lessives TOTAL = 504€ ✍️ Bilan Sumatra nous a beaucoup séduits pour sa nature très verte et on a vécu des expériences uniques : voir des orang-outans en liberté, voir la plus grande fleur du monde, boire du café de civette, arpenter la plus grande île volcanique… Mais selon nous, cette île ne s’adresse pas à tous les voyageurs. C’est peu touristique/moins développé, les trajets sont longs entre chaque ville, c’est très nature et moins culture. Même si on a aimé l’explorer, on conseille plutôt de l’intégrer à un long voyage. That’s a beautiful thing to keep a place authentic, but it can be a bit overwhelming if you’re not used to all the attention. BENCANA SEBESAR INI MASIH BELUM JADI BENCANA NASIONAL‼️🥀 Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana mengungkap korban jiwa banjir di Sumatra terus bertambah. Berdasarkan data sementara hingga 30 November 2025, total korban meninggal dunia mencapai 442 jiwa dan 402 jiwa masih dinyatakan hilang. Secara terperinci, dia menyebut dari data ini korban terbesar tercatat di di Sumatera Utara yang mencapai 217 jiwa meninggal dunia. Kemudian untuk korban hilang juga mengalami peningkatan menjadi 209 orang setelah banyak yang melaporkan kehilangan keluarga kepada petugas di tiap-tiap posko daerah. Sedangkan ke Provinsi Aceh, tercatat 96 jiwa meninggal dunia dan 75 jiwa hilang hingga kemarin. Di Sumatera Barat, tercatat 129 jiwa meninggal dunia, 118 hilang, dan 16 luka-luka. Pusat penerangan politik manambahkan ada sekitar 1,1 juta jiwa terdampak, 290,7 ribu mengungsi, 46 Kab/Kota di 3 provinsi… Hingga minggu malam (30/11) status bencana banjir dan longsor di Aceh, Sumatera Barat, dan Sumatera Utara belum menjadi Bencana Nasional.
