Unboxing and mini review of the Riverskate! @riverskatecollective I have a tradition — to order myself a new board once a year. In general, having a variety of boards is the path to success and progress. Swap boards, ride different ones — and you’ll become a better rider much faster. And of course, draining the family budget on new gear… well, that’s not even up for discussion! At the end of 2025 I decided to go for a Riverskate. If you want to progress — ride different boards. By now I’ve already been on the water more than 10 times with the Riverskate. Constantly testing it, studying it. And progressing as an athlete. If I went out 100 times on a regular board without rocker, it wouldn’t give me even a tenth of the experience that this board has given me. That’s exactly why I decided to do this. Don’t look at SUP in a flat way. This is a new sport and we are only beginning to discover its possibilities. Together. I’m very happy with this board. Every session on the water has become really interesting. Even class I–II rivers on this board give you the opportunity to work hard and refine your skills. We still have a lot to explore. You’ll see much more content with this board. I still need to order half-loops for my feet. And I also want shorter fins. #whitewatersup #freestylesup #riverskate #supboarding #paddleboarding

🧠On MINDSET and getting out of your physical COMFORT ZONE: Yesterday I felt like challenging myself, so I pumped up and carried my 11' paddleboard to the lake without knowing the exact distance or thinking too much about how much weight I was carrying. I told myself I'd figure it all out afterwards. I learned later that it's about 1.5 km each way, and my board (more than twice my height) weighs about 30 lbs. Not heavy but very awkward. Would I have done it anyway with that knowledge in mind? Probably. But the mystery kept it exciting. 💪 Life changed so much for me when moving my body became more about stepping out of my comfort zone and challenging myself, and less about "keeping fit." The flesh vessel you live in is dying to be challenged. It doesn't have to be conventional. You don't need a gym. You don't need fancy shoes or workout gear, just a willingness to give your body what it needs: physical release. And DAMN does it feel good. My hips are a little bruised from carrying the board, but otherwise I feel like a million bucks today.
