Top 8 Ways to Use Tails OS Like a Pro
1️⃣ Boot from USB — never a VM. VMs leak fingerprints. A live USB + Tails = minimal traces.
2️⃣ Verify the ISO signature. Don’t trust random downloads. One bad image = your identity leaked.
3️⃣ Use Tor bridges. If your ISP blocks Tor or you want extra obfuscation, bridges hide Tor traffic.
4️⃣ Persistent storage — be surgical. Only store encrypted PGP keys, wallets, or safe notes. Nothing else.
5️⃣ Spoof your MAC address each session. New MAC = new identity. Make it automatic.
6️⃣ Don’t log into personal accounts. Mixing real accounts with anonymous sessions destroys anonymity. Separate lives.
7️⃣ Always use end-to-end encrypted tools. PGP, OnionShare, secure messengers — make every message disappear.
8️⃣ Shut down properly. Tails wipes RAM on power-off. Close the session, erase the traces.
