🍞 Ingredients
480g bread flour (±30g)
7g instant dry yeast
50g sugar
6g salt
25g milk powder
185g milk, lukewarm
2 large eggs, at room temp
55g (4 tbsp) butter, softened
Tangzhong:
25g bread flour
120g water
Garlic butter:
4 tbsp butter
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt

I ordered a box with Pulled Beef in BBQ sauce. The sides included chips, Mac & Cheese and a slice of Texas bread. For the sauce I chose the Nacho Cheese!

The pulled beef was lovely! This tasted delicious and the BBQ sauce flavour came through so well. I enjoyed the pulled beef with the slice of bread and this portion was all round filling!

In terms of the sides, I found the Mac & Cheese a bit bland & the nacho sauce just wasn’t to my taste! I would have liked it to be more cheesy!

CIApple stuffed almond windmill french toast, hash, eggs and vanilla Chai tea for a change. I just don't know if stuffed french toast would be a thing for me, it might be because it's doing too much or the bread that i used is a no, I'll make Texas bread next time but flavor wise, it's good. Glad I didn't sweeten the cookies because I flavored the apples so the balance is there. COFrench toast peanut butter & jelly
If you ever had French toast which I’m sure most of you have, but have you ever had it with pbj? It’s delicious & smells delicious to be honest, especially with raspberry sauce!
Ingredients-
1 banana
1 loaf Texas bread
3 eggs beaten
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup milk
Peanut butter
Raspberry sauce, Jelly or syrup any kind of flavor
Sauce-
12 oz frozen raspberries
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup water
2 tsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions-
1. Get a shallow bowl, add in all of the ingredients & whisk them all together.
2. Slice your banana into bite size pieces.
3. Heat your pan or griddle at 350 degrees F & dip the bread into the mixture & onto the pan or griddle. cook for 3-4 minutes on both sides & make sure they’re brown but not burnt.
4. Remove them off the heat & add peanut butter banana slices & sauce or jelly while they’re warm.
Sauce-
1. In a saucepan over medium heat, add raspberries, sugar, water, & cornstarch. Stir to combine.
2. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and gently mash the berries with a spoon as your sauce cooks. Cook sauce for 10-12 minutes, or until raspberries have broken down & sauce looks shiny. Remove from heat, add vanilla extract, & stir to combine.
